Zeppelin Staaken R.VI
Zeppelin Staaken R.VI was the evolution of the Staaken family started with R.I. Completed in 1916, the first R.VI were delivered in June 1917. After tests on the Eastern front, they were moved to the West and used for styrategic bombins, especially against England.
18 R.VI have been produced by a variety of companies, besides a seaplane version. A deadly bomber, it carried 1200 kg of bombs on a long distances and 2000 on shorter ones. It could fly for 7 hours, or even 10 when additional fuel tanks were mounted.
